Quincy service terms
Updated September 14, 2026.
These terms cover Quincy’s firm website service. Starting the service in the firm account accepts the price and conversion rules below.
Service
Quincy provides general tax information, supported calculations, source links where available, and practical next steps for website visitors. It can help a visitor understand how to navigate a tax issue and connect with the subscribing firm. It does not replace the firm’s professional judgment, create a professional-client relationship with Quincy, or guarantee that an answer or source applies to every set of facts.
Monthly price and conversions
The firm website service costs $20 per paid monthly invoice period. Each paid period includes the first eligible conversation in which a visitor clicks the firm’s configured booking link or telephone link. Each additional eligible conversation uses $20 of the firm’s purchased credits. Repeated eligible clicks in the same conversation do not create another conversion charge. A click does not prove that an appointment was booked or a call was completed.
Purchased credits carry forward. Unused purchased credits are nonrefundable except where required by law. A monthly included conversion does not carry forward or become a credit balance.
Renewal and cancellation
The service renews for another monthly period when renewal remains enabled and Stripe successfully collects the next invoice. The firm can stop renewal from its Quincy account. Stopping renewal leaves access available through the end of the verified paid period and does not create a prorated refund. Provider failures, disputes, refunds or unsupported payment changes can pause access while the billing record is verified.
Firm responsibilities
The firm controls its website, booking and telephone destinations, and the professional services it provides. The firm must review Quincy’s behavior on its site, keep any daily conversion budget it chooses to set accurate, and avoid asking visitors to submit Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, tax documents or other sensitive client information through the chat.
Changes and contact
Material price or billing-rule changes require a new acceptance before they apply. For account, billing or service questions, email hello@quincy.tax without including sensitive tax information in the first message. See also How Quincy handles data.
